What started out as a couple of pygmy goats for my daughter's 4-H projects in 1997, blossomed into a journey...
From breeding and raising NPGA Pygmy goats, ABGA Boer Goats, Dairy Goats (Nubians), Dexter/Jersey Cattle, Sheep, Pigs (Landrace and Berkshire), Draft (Shire and Haflinger) Horses, Quarter Horses, Miniature Horses, Ducks (Muscovy, Runner, Call-Miniature), Turkeys (Heritage Bronze, Blue Slate, Bourbon Red, White Holland, and mix), Quail, Rabbits (Silver Fox, Flemish Giants, Rex), Chickens (Silkie bantams, French Black Copper Marans, Light Brahmas, White Jersey Giants, and Olive Egger project birds), and Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dogs.
We are currently breeding and raising...
- Miniature horses (specializing in appaloosas and paints)
- Turkeys (Heritage and Heritage mixes)
- Button Quail
- Silver Fox Rabbits
- Chickens (Cuckoo Silkie bantams, Creole Old English Bantams, French Black Copper Marans, Light Brahmas, Large Fowl (Standard) White Cornish (not the modern broiler crosses), Standard Barred Cochins, Bielefelders, White Jersey Giants, Olive Eggers (F1, F2, and F3 generations) and some work in process project birds)
We still do have a pet goat and the Great Pyrenees are still guarding our animals, we just are not breeding them anymore.
